A Message From You Lord by OnceUponAPoem

Greetings...

My name is... well I'll leave that to your imagination

What matters is that I'm your most prized possession

Doctors say I'm an addiction, some say I'm destruction

Others praise me like a God with their upmost attention

I send and receive information more than the angel of death sends people to their resurrection

O wait...L.O.L

I was the cause of that head on collision, remember? 

Using me and not paying attention

Took and robbed the lives of young adolescents

See I taught you how to spell life, but you never searched for the definition
Took time for granted and now.....?!

Well you're 6 feet deep with no wireless connection

Some would say you were a die hard fan

Don't get me wrong because what's worse than the overcharged bills and downloaded songs and ringtones

Lucky for you, you still got 2 contacts left on your phone

Because this is one call you can't silent as you listen

Asking, 'who was your lord?' but my name is who you mention

You remain silent with only the sound of your breathing

You had all the apps in the world to pass this grave's question and...

You even had an alarm to remind you of all the prayers you were missing

Just a sheikh Google search away from your salvation

This time you can't BRB (be right back) cause your never coming back to the world's temptation

You ignored the Message and I don't mean the one on your phone

The Message that God is one and he should be worshipped alone

Who perfected you from flesh to bone
