"So Allah Says: (يوم يكشف عن ساق) On that day when Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala will show his shin to human beings and to creation (ويدعون إلى السجود) and they will be called to prostrate, (فلا يستطيعون) they will not be able to prostrate. (خاشعة أبصارهم) As a result their faces will be filled with fear (ترهقهم ذلة) and disgrace will cover their bodies. (وقد كانوا يدعون إلى السجود) They used to be called to prostrate - Meaning the athan (call for prayer) was given, they heard the athan, they used to be called to pray, (وقد كانوا يدعون إلى السجود) they used to be called to pray, (وهم سالمون) whilst they were able to, but they didn't do so. Ikhwati what does this mean? Meaning if you fail to pray in this dunya (worldly life), Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala will disgrace you, and will punish you, and throw you into Jahannam (hellfire) in the Akhirah (hereafter). The first thing that people will say (on) why they entered Jahannam was: ( مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِي سَقَر - عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ - فِي جَنَّاتٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ- إلاَّ أَصْحَابَ الْيَمِينِ) They will ask the people (who will enter Jahannam): "What caused you to enter Jahannam?" (قَالُوا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّين) - They will say...We never used to pray. And that is why the scholars of Islam, Imam Ahmed (رضي الله عنه) says: "Anyone who misses one prayer intentionally, then he has become a disbeliever." - Anyone who misses one prayer intentionally. Our sheikh used to say: "If you do not intentionally put the alarm clock on, then you have committed an act of shirk." Meaning alarm clock on for waking up for fajr, you know that you can't wake up for fajr without an alarm clock, you know you need an alarm clock to wake up, but you do not put the alarm clock on, then you have committed an act of shirk, because Salah is the only link between us and Islam. In the authentic narration in Sahih Muslim, Rasullulah (ﷺ) said, he said...he said in an authentic Hadith, what did he say? He said: "What is between a person and Islam and Iman and Shirk and kufr", and he, in that hadith he said: "Ash Shirk Al Kufr" This is an authentic hadith in Sahih Muslim, "is the leaving of Salah". Imam Shawkani said in the explanation of this hadith, he said: "This hadith is the greatest evidence that leaving salah is kufr; is major disbelief." Why, because he said "between Islam and Al-shirk and Al-kufr"; the shirk (and) the kufr, and the shirk, the kufr cannot be anything, it can't be the small shirk, small kufr, must be the major shirk, the major kufr. And so that is why, this is the greatest evidence that leaving salah is kufr. "
